4 Questions to ask a Rep in every Job Interview
After refining our sales hiring process and digging deep into key characteristics we look for when hiring sales candidates. We created a list of questions to help find the A-candidates.
Here are my 4 favorite questions out of our list of 33 interview questions I wrote about in this post.
Tell me about a time when you persisted when others gave up.
What's the biggest goal you've set for yourself that you have achieved? Do you plan on setting a bigger goal? What was your motivation to achieve it?
Tell me about a time when you discovered a prospect might not be a good fit for your services. What questions did you ask to discover that?
Give some recent examples where you've had to figure things out on your own.
These cover qualities that are really important in sales, from my perspective: Curiosity, Optimism, Personal Motivation and Resourcefulness.
Short but sweet.
